Our Story

CDM Insurance was built on something unique, a partnership between a son-in-law and mother-in-law who share a passion for helping people and serving their community.

Rich and Tracy entered the insurance industry through different paths but were driven by the same goal: building relationships, earning trust, and helping clients protect what matters most. Rich transitioned into insurance after a career in education and coaching, bringing with him a strong commitment to service, leadership, and supporting families. Tracy spent years building her reputation in the insurance industry through exceptional customer care, industry expertise, and genuine dedication to her clients.

Over time, their professional relationship grew alongside their family bond. Together, they realized they wanted to create something of their own; an agency where clients would always feel valued, supported, and treated like family.

That vision became CDM Insurance.

Named after Chase, Dominic, and Madison; Rich’s children and Tracy’s grandchildren. CDM represents the family values that are at the heart of everything we do. Their names remind us daily why protecting families, businesses, and futures is more than a job; it’s a responsibility we take personally.

We offer a full range of personal and commercial coverage for Marco Island and the greater Southwest Florida area. On the personal side, we cover homeowners, condo, flood, renters, landlord and DP3 policies, builders risk, and auto including personal auto, motorcycle, recreational vehicles, boats, and classic and collector cars. For businesses, we provide commercial general liability and commercial auto. We work with a carefully selected group of Florida-licensed carriers including Tower Hill, Olympus, Florida Peninsula, Wright Flood, Neptune, Progressive, and others to find the right match for your specific property, risk profile, and budget.
